Postrly — Terms of Service (EULA)

Effective date: 2026-04-16

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Postrly (“the app”), a macOS application distributed on the Apple Mac App Store by liberAI (“we”, “us”). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in these Terms, Apple Inc.’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple EULA”) also applies and, in case of conflict, prevails. You can read the Apple EULA at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service and the Apple EULA. The app, including its code, design, and content, is licensed — not sold — to you.

2. What the app does — and is not

The app is a reminder tool that uses your Mac’s camera to detect your sitting posture and notify you when you have been in a head-down, head-tilted, too-close-to-screen, or prolonged-sitting position. The app is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and its output must not be used as medical advice. If you have a medical concern about your neck, spine, eyes, or posture, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

3. Free trial

The app offers a 3-day free trial starting on first launch. During the trial, monitoring and reminders work without any charge. If you do not subscribe, monitoring will stop at the end of the trial; you can still open the app and subscribe later.

4. Subscriptions and auto-renewal

The app offers auto-renewing subscription plans (Monthly and Yearly) through Apple’s StoreKit. When you purchase a subscription, the following Apple-required terms apply:

All billing, including renewals, refunds, and disputes, is handled by Apple. We do not store your payment information.

5. Refunds

Refunds for App Store purchases are administered by Apple according to Apple’s policies. To request a refund, use Apple’s “Report a Problem” flow at https://reportaproblem.apple.com/ or contact Apple Support. We cannot process refunds directly.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

7. Camera and privacy

Camera use is strictly local: frames are processed on your Mac by Apple’s Vision framework and are never saved, transmitted, or shared. See our Privacy Policy for the full statement.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its trademarks, and its content are owned by liberAI or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to you.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any detection will be accurate for every body type or lighting condition.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, liberAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or relating to your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us (through Apple) in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version takes effect when posted at the same URL, or when bundled in a new app release. Continued use of the app after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it and, if applicable, canceling your subscription through the App Store. We may suspend or terminate the license granted under these Terms if you materially breach them. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already paid; refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except to the extent Apple’s App Store Terms or the Apple EULA specify otherwise. Nothing in this clause limits consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
